New Christmas bear !!!

This is my newest little bear "NOEL". How fitting for the season. :)

A MINI TRIP !!!!

We took a mini trip to California last Friday to see our kids and granddaughter. It was our daughters Birthday so we were able to be with her for the weekend. It is always so special to see them. When you live in Idaho and they live in Ca. it is hard to visit to often...:( So it was lots of Starbucks and eating out. :)

End of Summer....

Well it is the end of summer and here in Idaho we still have fresh fruit. So I just had to make a fresh apricot pie. Our daughters favorite. It was very yummy !!!
I actually try and take the time to do other things besides bears. :)

I am very honored and humbled for this nomination and win...WOW~~~ And now I just fine out that she also WON the TOBY AWARD !!! as the WINNER in her catagory by TEDDY BEAR AND FRIENDS MAGAZINE...My cup runneth over. :)

Oregon Washington Trip

My husband and I took an extra day off last weekend and went to Washington and Oregon. I knew that Aleta was having her Flea Market that Sat. and really wanted to meet her and see the wonderful place that her and her husband Bill had purchased. What a breathtaking view of their property, and a wonderful show they put on. After we left their place we went to some antique stores in the Portland area before returning to our B and B that we were staying at. What a wonderful trip~~~

GRANDDAUGHTERS !!!

HAPPY 16th BIRTHDAY AMANDA !!!!











This is our sweet granddaughter that is turning sixteen on the ninth of June...
As I think about her getting ready to turn sixteen I must say OMG !!! It just can't be true... It seems as though it was just yesterday that she was playing with her dolls and bears and helping grandma bake cookies ~~~ Now it's designer handbags and jewelry. :) They grow up so fast.....

"MOTHERS DAY"

Mothers Day…
As Mothers day approaches I have thoughts of my children and the many blessings and heartaches of being a mother. I must say it has been the most rewarding and also the hardest job I will ever have. Life seems to fly by and before you know it those precious little babies are grown and have babies of their own. Wow how does that happen so fast ~~~~Oh so many memories I have, and thoughts of what I could have done different or better. I think as parents we just have to learn as we go. At least that seems to be what we did. I guess all that matters is that they grow up taking with them bits and pieces of what you taught them and that they are healthy, hopeful and happy on this journey that we all travel…
