I thought that I had better get a little baking done for the kids and granddaughter. Even though our kids are grown they still think that I am suppose to make goodies and send to them. :) Lots of work but it is always nice when I know they really appreciate all of the cookies and fudge. I forgot to get photos of the cookies. The last two photos are of the fudge !!!
It has been two weeks now that my husband and I took a trip to Ca. for our nieces wedding. It was a wonderful event and very nice to see everyone. We are by ourselves here in Boise so it's nice to be able to see family and friends when we can.
These are a few photos of the trip !!!
On our way!!!
The beautiful bride !!! Oooops I think I cut out part of hubby. :) So hard to take photos with the camera phone.
I have finished a new Panda Bear that I named CoCo. I made him out of a longer dense black alpaca fur and a wonderful soft brown German plush fur. I love the combination of the black with the brown tones !!! CoCo has German glass eyes with eyewhites. Hand stitched nose. He is filled with polyfill pellets BB's and coated glass beads. He has a wonderful weight to him...I made him a neck piece out of bells and wired ribbon.
He is 13" tall and a OOAK creation. His price is 230.00. For more information email me at firstname.lastname@example.org
Well finally I have finished a new bear !!! This is "Sarah Jane" and she is 16" tall and made out of a sparse curly mohair in a honey tan color. She has antique shoe button eyes with upper eyelids and eyebrows. I have re-made her sweet vintage doll dress to fit her and added panties to match. She has vintage shoes and socks to finish off her outfit. For more information on adopting Sarah Jane please contact me. email@example.com
Well I must say that this is a funny little story. For over a month now I have been going through boxes and lots of stuff to get ready for a garage sale. I opened a box full of old bears and dolls and pulled out this sweet little rabbit that I made in 1989. I had taken the eyes and nose off because I was not happy with the way it looked and decided to wait for another day to fix the poor little bunny. Well this time when I took her out I was tired and did not want to mess with it so I came very close to just tossing her in the trash....I know, not very nice. Instead I took her up to my workroom and put her in my basket of (to do) things. I took a look at her the other day and thought OK lets see what we can do. And WaLaaa she was re-born. You have seen the re-born dolls, well now you have seen a re-born bunny!!!!

I was going through some papers in the garage getting ready for a garage sale and came across this cut out from the paper that I found years ago. Well because I make and love teddies it really was special. We all need a hug and comfort from time to time and this special military nurse needed some down time. Very special. God bless our military men and women !!!!
