I just found out that my bear "DIXIE" WON !!! THE GOLDEN TEDDY AWARD~~ in her category of bears dressed and under 14" tall. I was up against some wonderful artists !!!! This was for the world wide contest that TEDDY BEAR REVIEW MAGAZINE puts on every year. I am very honored and humbled for this nomination and win...WOW~~~ And now I just fine out that she also WON the TOBY AWARD !!! as the WINNER in her catagory by TEDDY BEAR AND FRIENDS MAGAZINE...My cup runneth over. :)

Oregon Washington Trip

My husband and I took an extra day off last weekend and went to Washington and Oregon. I knew that Aleta was having her Flea Market that Sat. and really wanted to meet her and see the wonderful place that her and her husband Bill had purchased. What a breathtaking view of their property, and a wonderful show they put on. After we left their place we went to some antique stores in the Portland area before returning to our B and B that we were staying at. What a wonderful trip~~~
